The position included administrational work, mainly communication. In the beginning of the second year, she became a student ambassador and took part in organizing events such as new student orientation and convocation.

Moreover, she has gained valuable experience outside the university, as she was a finalist of the Intel International Scientific and Engineering Fair taking place in Phoenix, Arizona In May 2019. She also did a two month internship at the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau, which sparked her interest in forensic chemistry. Besides Chemistry, promotion of her STEM field and gaining new experience will always remain her main objective.

He wants to thank students for their support; he will do his best to fulfill their expectations and help to achieve whatever university-related aims or issues they might have. The past several years of acquiring knowledge and experience in San Diego State University Georgia helped him to find a job in Halyk Bank Georgia at the end of his second year. Currently, he is a junior software developer in the Ministry of Defense of Georgia engaged in various projects and utterly focused on further self-development. Finding the right job that will allow you to work and study at the same time is great. But university gives its students time and resources to learn lower level aspects of our profession, the fundamentals that are essential and usually hard to get back after getting a full-time position.

Ana Toria

A.S. Computer Engineering Program Representative

Ana Toria

Ana Toria is a Computer Engineering Junior at SDSU Georgia. She has been elected the Computer Engineering Program Representative of the Associated Students Board of Directors in Spring 2020 and will serve on the Board for the 2020-2021 Academic Year.

It was her first activity as a SDSU-G student. Later she became a mathematics tutor at the SDSU-G help desk for one year, where she was providing lectures in pre-Calculus, Calculus I, and Calculus II. This encouraged her to start tutoring pupils individually in mathematics and physics. Now she is a computer engineering representative and will do her best for her fellow students.

Giorgi Mzhavanadze

Giorgi Mzhavanadze

Giorgi Mzhavanadze is an Electrical Engineering Junior at SDSU Georgia. He has been elected the Electrical Engineering Program Representative of the Associated Students Board of Directors in Spring 2020 and will serve on the Board for the 2020-2021 Academic Year.

From a young age, Mr. Mzhavanadze has been fascinated with robots, different devices, and wanted to know how they worked. He used to disassemble every device he could get his hands on to figure out how it all went together; sometimes he even made little "frankenstein" devices by combining a few together. This type of childhood eventually led Mr. Mzhavanadze to choose Electrical Engineering as my major.

As the program representative, Giorgi’s objective is to act as a proper liaison between the student body and the higher levels of University hierarchy. Many students often need to not only be pointed in the direction of the responsible body, but also require help while communicating with the said responsible body. That's why he is committed to making the process easier for both parties: there's mutual benefit to be gained from a more efficient diplomacy.

First of all, Ms. Gomareli wants to say thanks to the students for their trust and support. She will do her best to live up to their expectations and work effectively. Her biggest challenge in life was to study in San Diego, to make the right decisions for the future. Studying there taught her a lot and gave her experience. She and her friends won 3rd prize at the EUCYS National Contest and participated in different startups. The skills that she learned in San Diego helped her get a job at LMC construction company for the Hampton By Hilton Residential and Hotel project. Nanuka notes that the difficulties facing students now are nothing yet and the main difficulties are still ahead.
