SDSU-G and SMEC International (Australia) Establish Strategic Partnership for Student Empowerment

In a momentous step towards enhancing academic excellence and fostering real-world skills, San Diego State University Georgia and SMEC International PTY Limited (Australia) Branch have officially entered into a strategic memorandum of understanding. The signing ceremony, held on December 21, 2023, marks the beginning of a collaborative effort to provide exceptional opportunities for high-achieving students.

Under the terms of the memorandum, SMEC International PTY Limited will facilitate practical training courses for students at San Diego State University Georgia who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance. The selection process, will identify eligible students through a competition, paving the way for them to participate in hands-on training at SMEC.

Individual agreements will be tailored to each student, allowing for a personalized and enriching experience. The ultimate goal of this initiative is to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom and the practical skills required in the professional world.
