Dr. Nino Pantsulaia
Director of Academic Affairs
Dr. Nino Pantsulaia has been with San Diego State University Georgia since 2015, initially joining as Student Service Coordinator. She advanced through the roles of Senior Academic Affairs Coordinator and Academic Affairs Manager, and in 2024 was appointed Director of Academic Affairs.
Dr. Pantsulaia holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Georgian American University, a Master’s degree in Social Sciences with a focus on Gender Studies, and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Tbilisi State University.
With more than 20 years of professional experience in higher education administration, she brings expertise in accreditation services, quality assurance, curriculum and instruction, educational research, student support services, academic relations, and the design and implementation of higher education programs. Her work has contributed significantly to educational reform in Georgia, both within public and private sectors.
In her current role, Dr. Pantsulaia leads the academic affairs strategy and operations of SDSU Georgia, overseeing academic processes across SDSU’s main campus and its Georgian partner universities. Her responsibilities include academic planning and operations, course scheduling, academic advising, faculty coordination, performance reporting, student exchange and transfer programs, program authorization and accreditation, and the conferral of degrees. She also directs institutional relationships with key government agencies, including the Ministry of Education, the National Exam Center, and the Education Management Information System.
