Mamuka Benashvili

Mamuka Benashvili is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Bachelor’s Program at the School of Engineering Technology, Agricultural University of Georgia. He has been actively involved in academic and research activities at the university since 2003, serving in various roles including laboratory assistant, lecturer, Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, and Program Manager.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Mechanization from the Georgian State Agrarian University in 2000 and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the same university in 2002. In 2006, he defended his PhD thesis on “Development of an Adaptive Working Body in the Interrows of Tilled Crops” and was awarded the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.

Professor Benashvili has participated in research visits to the Netherlands, Germany, and Israel, and has led several scientific grant projects. He is also a visiting lecturer at Tbilisi Free University.
